When our condos and rooms remain unsold rooms approximately 5 days out we typically reduce our rates by up to 40% at Birds of a Feather Bed & Breakfast.
Same day Last Minute deals are often reduced up to 50% on the day of here at our BnB.
You can either monitor our rates here, or contact us within 5 days of the date to inquire about possible upcoming deals and mention this page.
While OTA's will often advertise seemingly best last minute deals for hotels and other accommodations, unless you are using points from those OTAs our #BookDirect pices are 20% cheaper, both regular and discounted rates. Can you save in last-minute hotel deals?
Hotels are always aiming to maximize their occupancy on any given day. While budget hotels don't offer much savings by holding out to book last-minute, you've got a good chance to snag a deal at luxury accommodations such as here at Birds of a Feather BnB if you're willing to chance booking with short notice closer to the check-in date.

What day is cheapest to stay at a hotel?
Sundays are the cheapest day to start your vacation. Monday - Wednessday are next.

Is it true booking on Tuesday is cheaper?
Booking airlines on a Tuesday is believed to be cheaper because airlines often release sales starting from Monday night or Tuesday morning. This means that if you happen to look at flights on a Tuesday after a sale starts, you will probably get better deals than you would on a Saturday. This does not apply to hotels which discount their rates based on any last minute avaiability and not by sales.

Should you wait until after 4pm on the check-in day to get the best price?
The short answer is YES with the caveat that while you are waiting for 4pm someone else may already have scooped up that room you were hoping to book. Our process here at Birds of a Feather B&B is as follows. Approximately 5 days out we will reduce prices by approximately 20%. This is reviewed and adjusted daily until the actual date. On the morning of the check-in date the price is often further reduced, and monitored and possibly adjusted throughout the day. After 4pm one last effort is made to sell the room at our lowest price that makes sense to still make a profit after factoring in wear & tear, utilities and cleaning. At 9pm we stop accepting same day reservations.
