"On Our 50th"
We consider a lovey sunrise
And exhale as the pink horizen brightens.
Evening shadows slowly fade
And morning sunlight intensifies the lagoon.
We taste the nectar of life
As the shimmering light weaves its spell:
A symphony of sensations
Brings harmony to our souls.
A pair of eagles slide by
And our wonders travel with them,
Their silence punctuated by the
startled Gaggle of Geese at the dock.
And then... The silence is complete.
Our days are captivated by natural wonders.
Manicured gardens enhance creation.
Salt water spray crusts our lashes.
Concluded by an Epicurean delight- Markus'.
But the capstone of our stay
Is the evening Eastern rise
Of our honeymoon sweet-
A moon half-full, but bright with light.
The scene reminds us that ...
The night is lovely, dark, yet bright
"And we still have promises to keep
And miles to go before we sleep.
And miles to go before we sleep."
