"After meeting the love of my life a little over a year ago, I thought it was time to whisk her off to a nice secluded romantic setting. The sun was shining, the birds were "arguing", the sea was rolling, while the breeze lightly blew her beautiful hair across her gorgeous face. I leant in and kissed her soft beautiful lips. "Spent 5 days at "Birds of a Feather" with our 2 1/2 year old daughter Aubrey. Thank you for the suggestion to visit Thetis Lake for swimming. It was just the perfect spot for families with young children who love swimming. Water and sandy beach was perfect. Also enjoyed canoeing to Hatley Castle, visiting China Beach and checking out the lovely art work at Coast Collective. Also loved the private yet "homey" feel to this B&B. Breakfast and location and hosts just can't be beat! "

"Hi! This is an awesome Bed and Breakfast! You did a great job decorating this place! I love how in room 3, there is a big winding stair case! I also love that its right beside the ocean. It's cool that you have a hot tub! I have never been on a hammock and this was the first time I got to lie on one. I love your bed and breakfast! "

"The beds were really comfy and I think Birds of a Feather is great. I love the canoes,I think the food is really nice. I bet the hot tub is nice even though I did not get to go in it. I loved it here! I think the flower you leave on your pillow is a sweet thing to do! Birds of a Feather is a lovely B&B. We could easy stay here a lot longer. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. You can use the canoes and bikes for free! I love it here and would love to come back here again. "

"What a lovely place, home-away-from-home but much, much better! The suite is beautiful, everything we need in the kitchen, very comfortable beds ( the girls loved sleeping upstairs) amd even fans - we were blessed with hot, sunny weather. The breakfasts were great and we enjoyed the chat around the table. The icing on the cake for us was being able to take boats and bicycles out - so much fun, the kids loved it. We ate at Browns Social House which was really good ( we'd tired Six Mile Pub but they don't allow minors after 8 pm.) We went orca - watching with BC Whales - they were excellent and respected the whales ( unlike some other boats there! ) We had a great time and wished we could stay for longer. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and hospitality in sharing your lovely home.  "

"It has been a fantastic five days at Birds Of a Feather. Wonderful breakfast each day coupled with great sightseeing advice from Dieter. Each evening we enjoyed the Swans, Otters, and the Falcons fishing. Rooms are well done and maintained well. The many wonderful things we saw in Victoria and around the island will provide a lifetime of memories. If we are blessed to pass this way again it will surely include a stay here! "

"Nance and I had a great time here. This is a very comfortable home, and we felt very welcomed. Local knowledge is everything, and Dieter supplied us with great advice on hikes and eateries. Our favourite time to be here was in the mornings, when it was so peaceful and relaxing. The only 'Rush hour' was from the swans and geese crowding the pier.  The only "honking" we want to hear is the calling of the Canada geese! "
