The room was amazing and we loved the special attention to detail on everything - the delicious home cooked breakfasts and the spectacular views. We were incredibly impressed with Dieter's knowledge of the island and greatly appreciated his recommendations on local fun and food. What an increbile experience! "This is a wonderful place to stay. We hiked in Goldstream Park and the Coast Trail in East Sooke. Also enjoyed the water ferry ballet in addition to all the obvious tourist attractions. The hosts were knowledgeable and welcoming. The birding scopes were well used during our stay. We are already planning another visit. "

" It has been a slice outta a chunk of heaven. Fantastic views and wonderful breakfasts. Great to meet Dieter & Ashley and Alice & Taco and to be able to stay in such an amazing place. We're still here and can't wait to come back again! How great is that! The swans floating by each day is like a beautiful piece of artwork and to wake in the morning to all the birds in chorus at sunlight is the best wake up in the world and sooooo relaxing. You must walk the trails at Royal Roads - it is gorgeous, we biked along the lagoon and back, through the university trails in about an hour. I am going to miss the swans and the view but I think I will also miss Alice - she is as beautiful as everything else and warms more to you each day of your stay. Good find Ashley! Thank you, absolutely a wonderful getaway and incredible energy here. We look forward to returning again. You have all been amazing.   "

" When I found Birds of a Feather on the. Internet, this B&B looked incredible. Upon arrival we were not disappointed! It is even more beautiful here in person. The room  and the views are fantastic, Dieter and Ashley are wonderful hosts, the breakfasts were great. Being greeted by Taco upon arrival was a highlight! WeI will without a doubt recommend Birds of a Feather to anyone we know. Perfect accommodation in a perfect location for a perfect vacation in Victoria. We will definitely be back. Thank you for having us and helping us by booking our whale watching tour. Our only disappointment is having to leave.   "

"What a lovely place to stay as we explored Victoria and area. We had an enjoyable day exploring along the way to Port Renfrew - French Beach, China Beach, and lunch at Point-no-Point - definitely worth stopping to see. Visited many places including Fisherman's Wharf, saw the resident harbour seals, houseboats and ate great fish & chips. Spinnakers restaurant and brew pub on Catherine St. in Victoria and Olive Grove on West Saanich Rd. are great places to eat. Fort Roddl Hill & Fisgard Lighthouse.are certainly close and worth seeing. Butchart Gardens were lovely. Nearby is Matlock Farm (for great unique shopping) in the Cordova Bay area. All in all our time here has been wonderful. Visiting family in Mill Bay and Saanichton and coming "home" to our lovely place at Birds of a Feather each night  has made this an enjoyable and unforgettable holiday. We certainly will recommend Birds of a Feather to all we meet including family and friends. Thanks so much! "

"What an awesome place, You are truly blessed to have a "bit of paradise" to share with lucky visitors such as "us". Your hospitality was great - your breakfasts even better! Would reccomend other visitors to enjoy Stephanie's "Hot-Rock" massage spa service - a most therapeutic experience everyone should pamper themselves with! She is wonderfully intuative and knows just where the aching joints and tensions are. Also a hidden tourist interest very close by is the Coast Collective Art Gallery and Gift Shop - just around the corner. An awesome place to view and/or purchase West oast original art of such variety and good quality. "A hidden treasure for sure!" All in all- a great couple of days reprieve from the white stuff (snow) in Alberta. Thanks- would sure like to enjoy your hospitality during the summer months. - Lianne "DITTO" to Lianne's note.
