Like living in a dream land!
"We stayed as a gift to ourselves .... and what a gift it was! Like living in a dream land! We spent most of our time here, out on the Lagoon. Lots of exploring to do out there, we will be back!

Breathtaking View
"We stayed as a little "getaway" from Vancouver. The view is absolutely breathtaking and your clean and comfortable room was to exceed our expectations. We would love to come back and enjoy the famous breakfasts you have to offer. We enjoyed our stay at Birds of a Feather and will be back.

Still as "wowed" after 3rd visit
"Our third visit to this wonderful B&B and we are still as "wowed" with it as ever! This room feels like home and we always feel so relaxed from the moment we step through the door. The best part of our stay this time around was the great company. We met up with my sister and brother who had never been here before (and who also enjoyed every minute of their stay here) and our new friends from room three, Sue and Steve from Bristol England. Dieter, Annette, Emily and Montgomery were as welcoming as always, and our time has gone by much too quickly. We can not wait to come back again. As always we will recommend this B&B.
"
We love our suite!
"We love our suite (#1), this was a vacation we have been looking forward to. We wish we were staying longer in Victoria than 2 nights! We started our vacation with 3 nights at a B&B in Seattle, here for 2 nights and we'll move on to another B&B tomorrow in Vancouver for 2 nights. We went whale watching today and had several sightings. Time has run out before we could enjoy your boats. We'd love to come back some day!

Canoeing to the Lighthouse
"Though 36 years beyond our honeymoon the suite had an outstanding view and very romantic. We spent a lovely sunny morning canoeing to the lighthouse. On the return we were circled by 4 Kingfishers and looked up and saw a Bald Eagle which we watched for almost 10 minutes. Then he flew from the branch directly over our heads. This was a once in a lifetime bird viewing. We also enjoyed Montgomery and Emily since we miss our dogs. Best wishes and thanks.

Enjoyable Honeymoon
"Thank you for providing a comfortable environment for our honeymoon. Nichole and I are not B&B people and this was our first. We had some trepidation about the stay, but all was put to rest on the first evening with the welcome note. Thank you also for accommodating my gluten free diet.

One can ask for no more
"Beautiful setting, fantastic room, weather much better than forecast. Good food, good walks, good company - one can ask for no more.

You have thought of everything
"Thank you for creating such a wonderful environment from the moment we spotted your place on our drive in to our final breakfast. It was a pleasure getting to know you at breakfast (which you both prepared so deliciously) and enjoyed your wonderful sense of humour. You have thought of everything and loved the fireplace. We will be back!

Hearts filled with gratitude and memories
"What a delightful place to stay. We loved your home the moment we stepped inside your doors. The warmth and love put in to every room. Thank you for sharing the Honeymoon suite with us ... after 47 years we still fel like honeymooners at times. God has blessed us with 47 years and we hope to come back here for our 50th anniversary and sooner. Loved the shower ... felt so good ... thanks for the step stool ... you have thought of everything. My Chosen Cafe was great! Thank you! We realized once we got there that we had been there 5 years ago. Liked it then ... still great! Our hearts are filled with gratitude and memories.

Love this place, the location and the room
"Wow what a wonderful surprise! We love this place, the location and the room. And of course the views. Like many others we feel like we did not spend enough time at this B&B at all, so we have to come back! Until then so long.

Not leaving
"Such a wonderful and wild place. You may need to cancel bookings for the rest of the season, as you may not get me to leave such a warm and friendly room and view.

Took full advantage of all the toys
"We took full advantage of all the toys which are available on the premises. We had fabulous weather on Wednesday so we kayaked in the morning and biked in the afternoon. We had an awesome Salmon Quiche and sat and chatted with the lovely couple from England. Last night we headed for Pablo's Manson for dinner as is described in the treasure of British Columbia book however, we embarked on a quite another experience only to find the Restaurant Niche. This place treated every piece of presentation as a work of art, (and charged accordingly) from the Menu, to the Roasted Tomato soup served in a shot glass, to the Eggplant and White Bean spread served with the bread, to the ridicoulously large paper towels in the bathroom, this place was over the top. Not the friendly, enjoyable experience we that we were expecting or had grown accustom to staying at Birds of a Feather Bed and Breakfast. The restaurant is something we recommend, but prepare as if you are going to an Art Gallery. Thanks so much for a great stay.

Stunning view, the beautiful sunrise in the morning
"We really wished to stay longer in your Honeymoon Suite. The stunning view, the beautiful sunrise in the morning, the fireplace, the yummy breakfast - just everything. Thanks for all the insider information. We highly recommend Birds of a Feather to our family, friends, neighbours and all the others who wanted to hear about our trip to Canada. We really hope to come back soon. Hopefully you enjoyed your weekend trip like we did.

B&B was a surprise from our four children
"This B&B was a surprise from our four children as a Christmas gift. What a wonderful surprise to us. We had a wonderful time. The rooms are lovely, the people here are helpful and friendly. We would love to come back here and do some more sight seeing. Thank you for making our 34th year of marriage a memorable one.

Saw an Owl, Kingfisher, otters ...
"We have just had three nights B&B at Birds of a Feather and have thoroughly enjoyed it. The furnishing and views are out of this world as is the wildlife. We have seen an Owl on the telegraph wires just outside, Kingfisher on a post, in the garden a Woodpecker, and last but not least four Otters swimming around the jetty at about 7:15 pm last night. All this as well as the Geese, Swans etc. We found Breakfast with Dieter and Annette very informative and picked up some good tips.

Very special
"Just as good as the website! No!- Better. Lots of rain and low cloud but this did not stop us from going to the Fort and Light house. Used canoe, cycled in the forest, and explored this temperate rainforest on the Juan de Fuca Marine Trail- fantastic. Our accommodations and views were very special. Sea Otters and Birds put on a display for us. Many thanks.
