"We enjoyed taking the canoe around the lagoon. On the far side we found many crab, starfish, clams, and sand dollar. Red Fish Blue Fish serves amazing fish and chips on the warf. We had an excellent time and plan to return with our kids someday. "

"A beautiful, peaceful home on the lake [lagoon]. Thank you for the hospitality. Our first trip to Canada - certainly not our last. Victoria has been a truly enchanting place to visit. We have enjoyed every moment. We had lots of firsts during our stay including rowing a boat across the lagoon and zip-lining through the forest in Sooke. We loved all the amazing gardens. Dieter, you were right about MyChosen Cafe. It was dependable good food. "

"We think that Birds of a Feather is a fantastic luxurious B&B. We had a great time staying at your home on the water. Mark is in love with Mac the Cat and your bathroom (esp. the shower). Everyone we have met is extremely nice and we will recommend BOAF to anyone who wishes to visit Vancouver Island. We really enjoyed staying here. The room is wonderful, the view fantastic, and the service was a 10+ Mac and Alice are adorable and you guys are super nice. We went kayaking off the dock and bird watching. Your friend Jeff is full of wonderful stories and we learned a lot about whales. Thanks so much for making our experience here in Victoria so memorable. "

"A great way to spend our first night as a married couple. We stumbled upon you by accident, and are very happy it worked out the way it did. You were very accommodating & flexible - especially as we arrived at 1:50 am. Tub was superb, my first time on a canoe was fun, bed was perfect. We are locals, and would recommend you for sure!
