"This B&B was the perfect stop on our Honeymoon! It was so nice to relax away from the busy city. Breakfasts were delicious, thank you so much. We also got tone of great advice on things to do ... Galloping Goose trail was our favorite. We also enjoyed walking aroung Hately Castle and Gardens, whale-watching and of course Butchard Gardens. We did a good job using Public Transportation and even got a ride home from the Gardens from a wonderful family. We met staying here, then we met up with another couple staying here while on the Galloping Goose trail. Hope the rest of our Honeymoon is as wonderful as our stay has been here! "Our stay here has been beyond incredible! We have had such a lovely week in Vancouver and Victoria, but our stay here at Birds of a Feather has been so wondeful. We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary here. We went whale-watching, saw the Lighthouse and strolled down around the Inner Harbour. It is so beautiful here. We loved Butchart Gardens - breath taking! We had an incredible dinner last night at Camille's - very romantic - we highly recommend it for a special night out. We loved comming home to our beautiful room here with the spectacular views - we felt so secluded. It was fantastic - this is by far the most beautiful place we have ever stayed. "This was a perfect vacation - loved the room and view - stayed here our first two days watching the Otter and her baby - the 16 Swans (2 babies), hundreds of Geese - Ducks - Herons - Deer and even a Sea Plane! We look forward to seeing that and maybe us on the website Dieter! Be sure to take a Whale Watching trip through the Islands with Dieter - we saw lots of Whales - a baby Orca and 6 Breaches!! Another must - Port Renfrew and the trails at China Beach. Canada is a beautiful country and the people are wonderful! Thank you Dieter and Annette, Monty and Emily - come visit us! "

"Our two night stay here at the "Birds of a Feather" has been a bit of Heaven on Earth. After four days in downtown Victoria this has been especially wondefull. We paddled accross the Lagoon, visited the gorgeous Hatley Castle Gardens, then paddled back. We are very tired, but the exertion was worth every minute of it. we have enjoyed Vancouver Island, especially French Beach Provincial Park, and Botany Bay at Port Renfrew. (We saw a whale!!) Thanks so much for the serene and tranquil accommodations. "

"We travelled by bicycle from Tswassen to arrive in an oasis with every ammenity possible. My reluctance to travel off the beaten track (Galloping Goose Trail) to get here was over come by my spouses persistance. I truly appreciate his persistance as many of you have mentioned this place is a piece of Heaven. If time allows walk through the meadow on to the Royal Roads property. WIldlife such as Deer, Hawks, and squirels can be seen. Dieter you out did yourself and have left nothing to want for. Congratulations on the best of the best B&B's. We hope to return to enjoy the tranquility, camaraderie and solace this place provides. "

"Your home was our first experience with staying at a B&B. We must say that we enjoyed it much more than a hotel. It was like a home away from home. Rob didn't even mind the "Lepper [smoking] Bench" but would really like like to see a "Lepper can" fo the butts as well, (LOL) Really liked the cleanliness and hospitality. Can't help but think you actually brought in the deer to wander the streets because you knew of my love for wildlife and nature (they walk the streets as if they are the neighborhood pets). We also experienced a bald eagle and wow what a wing span it had. Saw a couple of bunnies on our walk along the street, their ears are smaller than the Jack Rabits we have in Ontario and was surprised to see that one of them was black ... unless this was a set up just like the deer ... LOL Thank you for an amazing first Bed and Breakfast experience, next time we will have to bring our children. "

"This place is a real "Retreat" and we chose to do just that! - we retreated from the world and enjoyed the beautiful room (#3) and private deck - we prepared our lunches and lite suppers and found our suite equipped with everything we needed. Our first B&B experience and it was definitely a great one! We'll be back. oh - also, we absolutely loved the cuddly housecoats. "

"Kim and I are thoroughly transfixed by our 36 hour exploration of Victoria - and the Birds of a Feather has been a fine starting point. We feel at home by the water - a counterpoint to our waterfront property in the Adriondracks in upstate New York. A stunning setting - and so close to the culture and beautiful natural setting of the Canadian west coast. We plan on a  return trip - with a bit more breathing space in our schedule. We did see one Orca but what was really stunning, besides the comaraderie and expertise of our Orca guides at Orca Spirit Adventures was a sighting of a bald eagle. What a magnificent bird. The Butchart Gardens with fireworks were the ultimate icing on the cake too. We enjoyed the eateries with live outdoor music at Wharf street - and were tempted to try the Matisse cafe. Many thanks for being marvelous hosts - clean and stylish accommodations and a most tasty breakfast. We look forward to our return. "
